Ngaran Ngaran Culture Awareness, est. in 2011, is an Aboriginal-owned and operated cultural service provider on NSW's South Coast, near Narooma and the Tilba region on Yuin country. Many parts of the Narooma, Bega Valley and Bermagui region have held sacred significance for the Yuin Aboriginal community for tens of thousands of years, yet the stories are not widely known.

The way our coastline works, there’s always a tucked-in bay, nook or crannie to enjoy picturesque quality beach time. Whether it's out for a surf or a quiet corner to read a book, netted and un-netted swim areas and so much more, all within a 10-minute drive — we’d like to say we’ve got it all!
Wildlife Adventures
Here’s the thing down here - the sealife is next level - one minute it’s whales and dolphins viewed from our amazing deck - the next you're diving with the seals - having your chips pinched by a pelican, and if you wake up early you’ll likely spot a wombat or two coming home from a long night out…
Narooma Golf Course
Meet the famous 141-meter par-3 3rd hole at the Narooma Golf Club on the South Coast of New South Wales, widely regarded as one of the most spectacular golf holes in Australia. As picturesque as it is, it is dangerous for your ball; if you hit a hole-in-one here, you're welcome to bring proof for a free drink at the bar!

Bar Beach Coffees on wheels at Froff Cafe
Froff Cafe is a cafe on wheels located at Bar Beach from October right through to Easter. It’s a cracking place for all to come together, yarn and commune - run by Beau & Mia. This special couple have built a sacred place to enjoy great coffees, morning swims and celebrate the local Narooma community.
Is it too much to suggest that Narooma is a foodies dream? From the Oyster Farmers Daughter, a great lunch spot, to Mr Hemmes Quarterdeck, a Tiki-inspired river restaurant and the wonderful Breakwall Brewing, that's all before we go on to what Tilba has on offer with its world-class dairy and sweet shops. I guess you're going to have to spend a few days down here to really get a taste of it all - oh, and of course we only share the best of feeds at The View also - but you know that!

Narooma Kinema
The Kinema is an Art Deco-style cinema. I’d recommend lunch or dinner with us at The View, then hop over the street for a nostalgic theatre experience. It does house-made choc-tops, with rotating flavours such as Turkish delight and pistachio, and toasties with a mix of three award-winning Tilba cheeses.

The options around Narooma are wide, fun, and varied - the newly renovated The Whale is a bougie joint for that special occasion, Hip Camp offers a heap of eclectic riverside stays and there’s a heap of BNB’s of the nostalgic type where it’s less app and more grateful hospitality - the holiday park in the middle of town is not only convenient; it’s friendly and a short stroll from almost anything in town. The choice is very much yours….
